Quick Recipe of The Week: Mushroom and Walnut Pasta

That time again for our recipe of the week. This time up a delicious mushroom and walnut pasta!

Cooking Time:

  • 20 minutes


  • 150g of oyster mushrooms
  • 200g of chestnut mushrooms
  • Oil
  • 1tsp Balsamico
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 50g of walnut
  • 1 onion
  • Parmesan cheese 
  • Fresh Basil leaves
  • 1 Shiitake
  • Mix of italian herbs



  • Clean your mushrooms
  • Slice your oyster mushroom
  • Cut your chestnut mushrooms in quarters
  • Dice your garlic and onion

Step 2:

  • Put the pan on low heat
  • Add the oil
  • Add in the garlic and onion
  • After 30 seconds dish the onion and garlic out of the pan into a separate bowl
  • Adjust heat to high
  • Add in the mushrooms until baked

Step 3:

  • Boil water
  • Add the pasta
  • Once cooked - drain the water - and rinse briefly with cold water

Step 4:

  • Back at the mushrooms add salt and pepper and italian herbs
  • Mix in the onion and garlic
  • Add in a dash of the balsamic and crumble the walnut over the mix

Step 5:

  • Add your walnut and mushroom mixture with the pasta
  • Serve with basil leaves and parmesan cheese
  • Enjoy!
